As a result of the on-going COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak in Northern Ireland, the University has implemented a range of measures to reduce the risk of spread within Queen’s. The most recently introduced measures for Enterprise SU are summarised below.

  • What support can I access from Enterprise SU during this time?

    Students will be able to reach us during normal working hours through our staff emails or our departmental email  We will also continue to share information across our social media platforms @EnterpriseSU_

    Business 121s – We are continuing to offer a 1-2-1 service for all students through email or zoom between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. 

    Business Plan Feedback – We are happy to review any business plans or similar documents and offer specific feedback.

    Competition Support and Funding Opportunities – If you are interested in applying for a competition or funding opportunity, and need help and support with your application please get in touch and we can provide suitable advice.

    Enterprise SU Funding - Our Make it Happen Fund has now closed for applications but we are currently accepting applications for the Santander Entrepreneurship Fund

    Please do not come into the SU building in person or attempt to contact the team via phone - email is the best method going forward.


  • Can I still pick up cheques or prize money from the Finance Office?

    No, during this time students will not be able to access the SU Finance Office.  However if you were previously due to collect money, you can do so when the building reopens. 

  • What about QUB Dragons’ Den 2020?

    QUB Dragons' Den will be run virtually between July and August 2020.

    Pitches and judges Q&A will now be held over zoom, however despite the changing format, the pitch content, prize fund and Dragons' remain unchanged.

    All entrants will be contacted regarding the format change in due course and following completion of the programme, winners will be contacted via email to arrange payment of the prize money.


  • Can I still access The Hatch?

    No, during this time students will not be able to access the SU Building including The Hatch.  However we can continue to support your business as per the above information.
