Oxfam is a global movement of people who fight inequality to end poverty and injustice. They’re committed to ending poverty in the long-term, as well as addressing its devastating impacts right now. Together, they improve and save the lives of those hardest hit by poverty and injustice and campaign for a fairer, more sustainable world.

This is an opportunity for students to trial a day in the life of Oxfam shop volunteers, sample the variety of roles available, and experience the positive impact that Oxfam volunteers have in the local community and in projects around the world

During the trial session, participants will assist with merchandising the shop, changing mannequins, creating window displays, interacting with customers, and tidying up the shop.
