Jump IN is an all-encompassing programme, which supports you in every stage of your volunteering journey. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer, or looking for your first role, Jump IN is there for you.
From volunteering fairs for those just starting out or looking for something new to training sessions and expert Q&As for those more experienced in volunteering, we ensure you can build the networks, skills and confidence you need to progress in your voluntary role and enhance your employability skills.
We provide sessions around leadership, volunteer management, fundraising, influencing, communication, conflict resolution and much, much more.
Alternatively, if you have got a charitable or voluntary idea of your own, we can provide you with the guidance you need to set up and structure your project for maximum impact. We can also introduce you to key contacts that can help your project succeed.

Resilience - 5 April - 15:00-16:30 ^online^
This session, delivered by Student Hubs, will support you to connect and reflect with other students on the topic of resilience, highlighting what low resilience might look like in practice, strategies to improve our resilience, and creating an action plan on how to support resilience in everyday life.

Come along to this session to explore the Be Collective Platform which can assist you in finding volunteering opportunities, connecting with causes you are passionate about and creating a social CV. Available to every user on Be Collective, for free, the social CV function is a verified collation of your social contribution and experience that's ready at the touch of a button.
Facilitator Jamie Greer, has over 15 years’ experience working in the charitable sector since graduating from Queens University Belfast. As Community & Stakeholder Development Manager at ‘Be Collective’, Jamie is working in partnership with local organisations to support and grow their volunteer programmes digitally through Be Collective.

Insight: Student Volunteering – 26 May – 09:45-13:00 ^online^
Join globally renowned volunteering expert, Rob Jackson, to explore how volunteering has been changing and what this means for how we engage volunteers. We will explore the key areas you can focus on to make your organisation, group, club or society, even better at getting great volunteers.
Students' Union representation and marketing specialists will also ensure you come away with essential learnings around student life and the nuances of engaging this tech savvy & socially-minded Generation Z demographic.
This event is open to Queen's students and staff, and Volunteer Managers working within the not-for-profit sector. Please register by 12noon on Tuesday 17 May.
