8 October 12

19 October - 4 November 2012

Belfast Festival at Queen's is back!  It's jam-packed with performers from big names in the world of entertainment to unknown artists looking to get their chance in the spotlight.  The festival caters for everyone and includes theatre, comedy, dance, physical theatre, musicals, operas, music, exhibitions and events.

Keep an eye out for 'The White Room' on the front lawn of the Lanyon Building.  It's going to house the coolest, funniest, laugh-out-loud comedy acts to be seen this year!

Here are just a few on our hit list in week one:

A Perrier Award winning Irish stand-up comedian is going to be in the house!
20 & 21 October, 8pm.  The White Room.

Abandonman
Winners of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, Musical Comedy Awards and the Adelaide Fringe Festival “Best Comedy – Newcomer” awards, Abandoman create musical songs and sketches at lightening speed based on audience interaction. Come to the show, drop your suggestions in the ring and watch as Abandoman make musical magic!

Terry Alderton
Following yet another smash hit, critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Canadian tour and appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Road Show and Dave’s One Night Stand, Perrier Award nominated comedian Terry Alderton is bringing his phenomenal comedy rollercoaster to the Belfast Festival. Pop in to see his hilariously unpredictable alter egos, extreme physical pranks and eerie insights into the inner workings of an unusual mind.
