Deafheaven announce Mandela Hall show

3 April 14

American rockers Deafheaven will play Mandela Hall on Sunday 17 August, with special guests No Spill Blood.

Deafheaven is metal band that was formed in 2010 in San Francisco. It began as a two-piece with George Clarke and Kerry McCoy, before recruiting further members and heading out on tour.

The band signed to Deathwish Inc and later released their debut album “Roads to Judah” in 2011.

The critically acclaimed follow up album “Sunbather” was released in 2013. Without question "Sunbather" is Deafheaven at the peak of their creative strength and vision of their young existence. A masterfully crafted work of art that will be renowned for years to come.

Support for the Mandela show will come from Irish group No Spill Blood. Made up of members from the much-loved established bands Adebisi Shank, Hands Up Who Wants To Die?, Elk and Magic Pockets, the band released their debut EP “Street Meat” through Sargent House in 2012.

Tickets are on sale now from Students’ Union Reception and Ticketmaster. Find out more here.
