Radar Presents: Chocolate Love Factory, Making Monsters and Green Monkey

Radar is back on Thursday 27 February with another fantastic line-up! Three great bands perform live in your very own Speakeasy. This Thursday Chocolate Love Factory will headline with support from Making Monsters and Green Monkey.

Chocolate Love Factory is an Irish four-piece who formed in 2009. Their influences include Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, Tame Impala, Kyuss, Battles, Nirvana, St. Vincent, Eagles of Death Metal and Daft Punk.

Playing an energetic set full of frantic riffs and powerful vocals, ‘Alternative Ulster’ magazine affirmed "the force and intensity of this band is a genuine sight to behold".

Making Monsters, a Londonderry based female fronted four piece jump-started 2014 with an extensive UK tour alongside Max Raptor, Fort Hope and Only Rivals. Firmly back on home soil, they have released their latest music video, which accompanies the second single 'Limits' off their forthcoming five-track EP.

Their music has received extensive airplay on BBC Radio One, Across the Line and Electric Mainline and resulted in support slots for acts including; 'Sonic Boom Six', 'Yashin', 'Fighting with Wire', 'Future of the Left', 'ASIWYFA' and Kerrang! Award winners 'In Case of Fire'.

And last but not least, Green Monkey describe themselves as “four brothers with different mothers", who share a love for hip-hop and hard rock.
