Blue Whale to support Tera Melos

We are pleased to announce that Blue Whale will support Tera Melos on the 31 January, 2014 in Bar Sub.
Blue Whale is an experimental party band from Belfast. Being predominantly instrumental, they avidly seek to avoid the predictability of the contemporary ‘Post Rock’ formula.
Blue Whale’s music is by no means a sonic lament to bygone rock genres, but rather a subversion of these through an unexpected amalgamation of diverse influences, which has seen them be imagined as The Magic Band playing Battles and Sonic Youth playing Graceland.
Adopting a classic line-up of two guitars, bass and drums, they endeavour to reclaim this convention for experimentation with dance and discord, chaos, and intricacy. This unconventionality operates within clean channels. You won’t find much more than a tuning pedal on stage at a live show.
