The Rend Collective

26 March 14

We are delighted to announce that Rend Collective will play two amazing shows in Mandela Hall on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 May, 2014.

Rend Collective is a Christian folk-rock band originating from Bangor, Northern Ireland, who released their first studio album, Organic Family Hymnal, on 28 September, 2010.

Since then, the band has gone on to release three studio albums and a live record.

Rend Collective have never lacked imagination. They developed organically, outside of the influence of the music industry, as a self-described, “group of confused twenty-somethings trying to figure out faith, life, God and community.”

They gathered at Rend, a ministry for spiritually hungry young adults, desperately seeking an authentic, raw and real expression of church. This honest and genuine movement of prayer and missions was accompanied by the birth of a new breed of worship songs that became the foundation for their first and critically acclaimed 2010 album, ‘Organic Family Hymnal’.

Their endearingly raucous live shows have brought thousands of fans to sold-out tours on both sides of the Atlantic and they have shared stages with some of the biggest names in Christian music such as, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Tenth Avenue North.

The Friday show has sold out, but you can still grab tickets for Thursday! They both promise to be amazing nights – don’t miss out! Find out more here.
