Volunteering Excellency Awards - Nominations are now open!

Queen’s Students’ Union is calling for nominations for its 2014 Volunteering Excellency Awards.

The Volunteering Excellency Awards, sponsored by Reid Black Solicitors, are a brilliant opportunity to shine a light on someone you know who goes above and beyond the call of duty.

"The Awards provide an important opportunity to take stock and celebrate the positive contribution you have made to the community, locally as well as further afield”, said Sarah-Louise Baird, Student Officer Community. “I encourage all students, staff and alumni to nominate someone that they believe has made a real difference."

The winner of each award will be announced and celebrated at a glittering awards ceremony and gala dinner, held in the Great Hall, Queen's University Belfast on 9 June 2014 at 7pm.

This year the event will be hosted by Student Officer, Community, Sarah-Louise Baird. Our guest speaker is the NUS and Queen's University Belfast Student of the Year 2013 and Queen's Students' Union Student Volunteer of the Year 2013, Aidan Bannon.
