We are delighted to announce that Ella Eyre will play in your Union! The BRIT award winner will headline the Mandela Hall on Thursday 12 March, 2015.

With her magnificent mane of leonine hair, ferocious powerhouse soul vocal and impressively energetic live show, Ella Eyre has become an unstoppable force within British music.

Since proving herself to be one of the UK’s most enthralling and captivating debut female singers, Ella has been wowing the crowds throughout the UK having sold out a headline tour as well as performing prolific slots at this summer’s festivals.

Since signing to Virgin EMI two years ago, Ella has featured on chart-topping band Bastille’s cover of TLC’s “No Scrubs” classic, “No Angels”, which shot straight to the top of the Hypemachine chart. Shortly after, casual songwriting sessions with then unknowns Rudimental and Naughty Boy evolved into Ella being involved in a No.1 and No.2 album respectively with “Home”and “Hotel Cabana”. Her single with Rudimental, “Waiting All Night”was one of 2013’s biggest hits, and she spent much of last year on tour with Plan B, Rudimental and Bastille, playing at sold-out shows across the globe.

Now focusing on her own live performance, Eyre’s own stage show has evolved into its own particular dynamic! Known for her catsuits, bright lipstick and of course huge hair, Eyre is a dynamo onstage, offering one of the most exhilarating live performances seen in years.
