Santander Entrepreneurship Fund

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Santander Universities, providing entrepreneurial students at Queen’s the opportunity to access financial support in the wake of the recent pandemic.

The Santander Entrepreneurship Fund has been created for the purpose of helping Queen’s student start-ups and entrepreneurs who have been directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19.  We are offering students the opportunity to receive funding ranging from £800 to £3,000 to help further develop their business.

This fund is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students at Queen's and is jointly managed by Enterprise SU and The Graduate School.

Applications are open from 6th July - 1st September and all entries must be submitted to Enterprise SU at enterprisesu@qub.ac.uk.

After submitting an application, entrants will be expected to present their case to a panel which will be done remotely given the current restrictions.

Please note, that successful applicants will be required to promote the Santander Entrepreneurship Fund on their social media accounts.

Not sure whether you should apply? Here are some things worth considering:

  • This funding is available for all business ideas, regardless of the area or industry
  • You must be a current Queen’s student or have graduated in 2020 to be eligible for funding
  • If your business has struggled recently and the fund could help get it back on track
